The Consulate of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Birmingham represents the interests of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the United Kingdom. It works to strengthen economic, commercial, and cultural relations between the DRC and the UK, with a particular focus on trade, investment, and diaspora engagement.
The Consulate provides official consular services, including visa facilitation, passport services for Congolese nationals, document legalisation, issuance of consular cards (carte consulaire), and civil status services such as the registration of births, marriages, and deaths.
Through its work, the Consulate acts as a bridge between government institutions, businesses, and communities, promoting a professional, transparent, and service-oriented approach in support of development opportunities and international cooperation.
